2nd Grade 80's Musical: Tuesday, April 1, 5:30 pm

Where:  School Cafeteria

What's the occasion:  Fine Arts Night - it runs from 5-7 p.m, but the musical is from 5:30-6 pm

What do I wear?  80's style of dress. Look it up! If you don't have anything, wear your class t-shirt and jeans. 

How long?  6 80's Songs

Any solos?  Yes, auditions are March 6, before school at 7:30 pm  You can sign up to audition on this QR Code.  If you don't have a phone or know how to use QR codes, sign up at this link: https://forms.gle/SsiXbEhszpJkkYVU8       Use the instrumental version to audition (no vocal version).

Audition Information: Students will audition in Mr. Simons' room at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 6. Students will pick their best song but also will have the opportunity to select any other songs they would like to be considered on. 
Solo options are:
Livin' on a Prayer: 5 solos on
1. Verse 1a ("Tommy used to work...")
2. Verse 1b ("Gina worked the diner...")
3. Verse 2a ("Tommy's got his 6 string...")
4. Verse 2b ("Gina dreams of..."
5. Very end of song ("living on a prayer.")
True Colors:
1. Verse 1 ("You with the sad eyes...")
2. Verse 2 ("Show me a smile....")
3. After the guitar solo, ("If this world makes you crazy...")
